AGREX DNP Vietnam Co., Ltd. – (Providing BPO services). It has already been 10 years since the initial system was built, and AGREX DNP Vietnam is concerned whether the company could keep the system stable in the long run. The company wished to rebuild its IT environment to continue its business operations with peace of mind.

AGREX DNP Vietnam has decided to cooperate with IIJ GS Vietnam:

1. Deploy a hybrid cloud infrastructure of which:

+ HI GIO Cloud as the cloud part.

+ New on-premises environment that IIJ GS Vietnam had built and conducted the migration from the old.

+ Connectivity between HI GIO Cloud and new on-premises environment. 

2. Deploy HI GIO BaaS service (AGREX DNP Vietnam knew the importance of backup). The data of the hybrid cloud infrastructure is backed up to both on-premises and HI GIO Cloud.

3. IIJ GS Vietnam proposed and built the Hyper-V based on an on-premises environment using VMware infrastructure.

Why a hybrid approach but not a complete cloud migration?

• AGREX DNP Vietnam was studying cloud technologies.
• AGREX DNP Vietnam’s internal systems consist of many information systems, such as file servers, system applications, Active Directory servers, web servers, etc. Some still needed to operate in on-premises infrastructures to ensure access speed and security. 
• As the result of consulting and study,  IIJ GS VN suggested the hybrid cloud infrastructures to run some services/functions in the first phase.
