FPT HI GIO Cloud, launched by FTI International Telecommunications Company (part of FPT Group) on April 13, 2017, is the first new-generation cloud computing service in Vietnam for individual and business customers.
FPT HI GIO Cloud service was formed from the cooperation between FPT Telecom and Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ). Therefore, FPT HI GIO Cloud is currently the only integrated service in Vietnam based on IIJ’s advanced technology and strict and exclusive standards.
Internet Initiative Japan is the corporation that laid the foundation for the internet and brought the first commercial internet connection service in Japan. This is also the “father” of the cloud computing service called IIJ GIO Cloud (Grand IT On-Demand Cloud), which has been successfully deployed in 22 countries globally and has been the leader in the Japanese market for many years.
Meeting Japanese quality standards, FPT HI GIO Cloud service has also been redesigned to suit the Vietnamese user market. The service has performance, high processing capacity, stability, absolute security, and high-speed connection. The service’s security features are rated highest, the security system includes NAT, firewall with access policy setting options, service port forwarding feature between internal network and public network.
Using FPT HI GIO Cloud service, users save a lot of money because they do not have to invest in physical equipment (estimated to save 40-60% of initial investment costs).
